Extracurricular University Library Courses and events
The University Library Bern and the Medical Library offer courses on academic research, writing, publication (BORIS) and reference managment, as well other events such as Coffee Lectures and workhops. Library courses and events are extracurricular and will not count as part of the mandatory 18.0 ECTS to be acquired during the PhD.
Extracurricular DCR Lectures and Talks
DCR offers online lectures and talks that are accessible to researchers and research team staff involved in patient-oriented clinical research. These lectures feature expert presentations on current, study-specific topics and the latest advancements in clinical research.
Extracurricular Language Courses
The University of Bern offers language and scientific writing courses for students and academic staff. Language courses are extracurricular and will not count as part of the mandatory 18.0 ECTS to be acquired during the PhD.
Extracurricular Online-Course "Research Integrity"
This course teaches the fundamental principles of good scientific practice, provides a comprehensive overview of international standards for research integrity, and helps students understand and apply ethical principles.
